08/22/14

Express Logistics is honored to announce that they have been awarded $130,000 in direct financial assistance and tax benefits by the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) Board through the HQJP program for job creation and expansion projects.

The proposed expansion project includes Express Logistics’ plans to purchase and remodel buildings in Waukee and add 19 jobs. Express Logistics is one of six companies to be awarded direct financial assistance for job creation and expansion projects. The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) offers a variety of programs and services to individuals, communities and businesses to attract and grow business, employment and workforce in Iowa. Ground-breaking economic growth strategies focusing on cultivating start-up companies and helping existing companies become more innovative complement the activities underway to retain and attract companies that are creating jobs for Iowans.

We are honored to receive this support from the Iowa Economic Development Authority,” said Chad Rubner, president and owner of Express Logistics, Inc. “Express Logistics has experienced such tremendous growth the past few years, and this assistance will further accelerate our growth in 2015.”
